The Kaduna state government has commenced the employment process for those who applied for teaching appointments in the state’s public primary schools.

The Kaduna state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) stated that the aptitude test for the applicants will be conducted on Wednesday.

In a message on Monday, December 18, Nasiru Umar, the executive chairman of Kaduna SUBEB, announced that the test will be conducted in designated centres across the 23 local government education authorities (LGEA) of the state by 10am.

SUBEB stated that applicants will write the examination in their respective LGA of residence, adding that those who applied online and other states will write the test in centres nearest to them.

It reminded candidates to come along with writing materials and two recent passport photographs to the centre. It stated that all candidates must be at the centre by 8am for accreditation.

It would be recalled that the Kaduna division of the National Industrial Court last Thursday stopped the planned sack of 21,780 primary school teachers who failed a competency test organised by the state government.
