Olympics: Dream Team get opponents April 14

The draws for the Rio 2016 Olympic Football Tournaments is slated for April 14 at the Maracana Stadium in Brazil, according to FIFA.com

The tournaments for the men’s and women’s events will kick-off on August 19 and 20 respectively.

For the men’s draw, the 16 teams that qualified, including the Dream Team VI, will be drawn into four groups of four teams each.

While the women’s draw will have the 12 qualified teams drawn into 3 groups of four teams each.

Colombia and USA are to tackle for the final spot in the men’s tournament, while the final five teams to complete the women’s tournament will be known by March 9.

The Nigeria U-23 team qualified for the finals by entering the final game of the 2015 U-23 AFCON and beat Algeria 2-1 to win the competition.

While the Super Falcons where knocked out at the fourth round of the qualifying stages by Equatorial Guinea 3-2 on aggregate in August 2015..
