“This year's party will also witness the highest number of traditional rulers, Jimoh, said in a statement made available to reporters on Thursday.

The royal fathers billed to grace the occasion include: Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, the Olu of Mushin, Oba Fatai Aileru, the Olota of Otta, Oba (Prof.) Adeyemi Obalanlege and the Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi.

Jimoh, added that the diversity of the dignitaries drawn from the executive, the legislature, the business community and the traditional institution was in keeping with the theme of the club's 70th anniversary: Something for Everyone.

His words: "We have deliberately chosen our very important dignitaries from diverse areas and public life to keep with up with our theme, Something for everyone and in keeping with our tradition of engaging people from all sectors," Ayo Jimoh said. "Lagos Country Club has such diversities, especially professional and ethnic diversities, and little wonder that our club can be described as a mini-Nigeria."
