A protester has been captured leading a lion against police dogs in Iraqi demonstration, which has been going on since October 1.

Iraqi citizens have been launching a series of relentless protests against the ruling political elite since which they accused of systemic corruption and inability to rule the country.

Police recently threatened the protesters with trained dogs. However, what stunned people is one of the protesters who brought out a lion to the protests as a way to defend himself from the angry police dogs.

BBC reports that at least 13 people have been killed in a fresh wave of protests in the southern city of Nasiriya on Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, the violent protests are still ongoing as the police keep clashing with demonstrators.
