Each House of Representatives member willing to vote Femi Gbajabiamila as Speaker and Idris Wase as deputy would go home with $10,000 (N3.6million), in a new strategy, the All Progressives Congress (APC), is said to have rolled out to get both men into office at the green chambers at all cost.

It is not known what the price is at the Senate, where the ruling party is also intent on producing the duo of Ahmad Lawan and Ovwie Omo-Agege as Senate President and deputy, respectively.

However, the strategy as alleged by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is that the APC had produced a green card that the members that have been induced with cash and threatened with heavy punishment at the same time, would use to confirm their choice.

This was revealed Tuesday morning by Mark Gbillah, representing Gwer West-Gwer West Federal Constituency of Benue State, on Kakaaki, the breakfast programme on African Independent Television (AIT).

He allegeged that the card, which he said was serially marked, was meant to be placed side by side the lawmakers’ ballot paper and photographed after voting to ensure that they actually cast their ballot for the preferred candidate.

He said that the PDP was totally against the move and would move to ensure that lawmakers were prevented from going into the chambers with their phones, to pervent such outcome.
