Three children of the same parents have been consumed in a raging inferno that engulfed a wooden kiosk, amid wailing by bystanders, whose efforts to save the situation, came a little too late.

The three Bridget Delali Hammond, Winifred Hammond, and Parisah Adewumi Hammond, aged 10, nine and two years respectively suffered the unfortunate fate in the afternoon of Thursday, April 11, 2019.

According to a report YEN.com.gh sighted on Ghananewsagency.org, the siblings were resting in after returning from school on the fateful day which happened to be their vacation day for the upcoming Easter holidays.

At about 3:30 pm, a fire started in the wooden kiosk they were sleeping in just in front of their house. While residents, tried to quench the fire, it took so long that by the time the fire was brought under control, the children had already died.

In a video from the incident which has been sighted by YEN.com.gh, many of the residents were heard lamenting why the police and fire service had not arrived to help quench the fire.
