Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, is presently on his way to Lokoja, capital of Kogi State, hours after he was arrested in Abuja by a team of policemen from the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

Dino, who was declared wanted, last month by the police in his home state, is expected to be paraded later this evening alongside the criminal suspects, who named him as their arms supplier to carry out some of their armed robbery operations.

Dino, whose ordeal began on Monday, when he was detained at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, after he was stopped from travelling on official trip to Morocco, was initially detained at the SARS facility, located opposite the old Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) junction along the Area 1 expressway, Abuja, after his arrest by the operatives on Tuesday morning.
