The beat goes on

It was a kaleidoscope of concept and colours, joy and laughter, dancing and general making on Friday, January 24, 2020, as the Lagos Country Club, Nigeria's most prestigious family club settled down for another edition of celebration to usher to welcome the new year.

Movers and shakers of the society from all works of life, made up of officials, members, friends and well wishers were on hand to have the best of fun. Men, heavily decked in expensive outfits, women, gaily-dressed and looking queenly in beautiful colours all coalesced to create a picturisque atmosphere to give the evening its esssence.

With exquisite cousines, African and continental, assortments of drinks to tease the palate, it was all fun and merrymaking.

To top it all, came the music from the master himself, the irrepressible and quintessential king of Juju music, King Sunny Ade, who was at his best through the night to early Saturday morning.
