Landlords in Lagos, now have a choice between conniving with criminals and losing their properties or fishing them out immediately and retaining same, going by the traditional rulers in the nation’s commercial capital.

The monarchs, who have vowed to join hands with the police in curbing crime, vowed to commence with unscrupulous landlords, who harbour the criminals, especially cultists and robbers, whose activities have been on the increase in recent times.

They say they would not only revoke the title document, but seize any house in which cultists or armed robbers were arrested in the state, henceforth.

The Ojora of Ijora and Iganmu kingdom His Royal Majesty Oba Abdulfatai Aremu Aromire who gave the warning, said such action is imperative if the war against crime and criminality must be won.

Speaking at security stakeholders meeting in his palace, the first class monarch posited that the state government has invested huge amount of money on security, adding that its efforts must be compliment by all and sundry.

Noting that the Police have performed creditably well in their duties in reducing crime to its barest minimum, the monarch asserted that all hands must be on deck in assisting them to tackle any form of criminal act in the society.
