Super Eagles handler, Rohr hits Nigeria with foreign-based goalkeeper trainer

The national football team of Nigeria now has a new goalkeeper trainer, Enrico Pionetti.  He arrived with Gernot Rohr at the training ground of the home based players in Kano on Monday.

Information has it that the 62 year old Italian had worked with Gernot Rohr in his previous assignments at French Ligue 1 side, Club OGC Nice and Burkina Faso.

It is however unclear, what the role of Alloy Agu will be in the squad  especially as the home based players are preparing for Africa Nations Championship qualifying fixtures with Benin Republic.

Image result for Enrico PionettiThe new Super Eagles’ goalkeeper trainer featured for Leece from 1983 to 1986 and for Brescia in the following season. Other club sides he featured for include Anconitana, Salernitana, Cremonese and Imperia.
