More controversy, as family disowns Zahra Buhari’s pre-wedding pictures

The controversial picture

It is yet another controversy in the home of President Muhammadu Buhari, over the marriage of his beautiful daughter, Zahra and Mohammed Idimi, which ran into troubled waters a few days ago, when it was suspended, following alleged security breaches from the family of the suitors.

This time, the family of the President, came out to disavow some photographs trending on social media and some conventional media, depicting the proposed couple in a pre-wedding photographs, dismissing them as fake.

In a statement by the Special Assistant on Media to the wife of the President, Adebisi Olumide-Ajayi, the family not only described the photographs as untrue and embarrassing to them, but insisted they would want the forthcoming marriage to remain a private affair.

The statement, which also promised that official photographs of the wedding would be released at the appropriate time, said: “It has come to the notice of the Buhari family that certain photographs are making the rounds both on social and conventional media claiming to be pre-wedding photographs of Zahra Buhari and Mohammed Indimi.

“Not only are these photographs untrue, they are also a source of embarrassment to the couple.”
