Rafael Nadal has been seeded 10th for Wimbledon meaning the prospect of a showdown with top seed Novak Djokovic, second seed Roger Federer or third seed Andy Murray looms in the last 16.

Nadal, twice a Wimbledon champion, is having a difficult season with a record of 33 wins to 10 losses and just two titles, and his low seeding reflects his ATP ranking of 10th.

In fact, the ATP top 10 is mirrored almost exactly, with only Milos Raonic and David Ferrer swapping positions, with the former seeded seventh at Wimbledon and the latter seeded eighth.

In the women’s draw, Serena Williams is of course seeded first with last year’s winner Petra Kvitova seeded second for the tournament that begins on Monday.
